The Hays MIGHTY HUNTER Radiation Detector is a precision instrument that detects alpha, beta, gama and X-rays. The level of radiation is displayed on an easy to read meter and is measured over three ranges from 0 to 50 milliRoentgens per hour (approximately 5,000 times background). A count light and a speaker indicate when ionizing radiation strikes the unit's Geiger tube. Uses one low cost battery that can last up to 200 hours.
